At Regions, this position will provide administrative and clerical services related to the activities of a division, department, section or unit.
•Prepares correspondence, emails, memoranda, reports, etc.
•Assists in the preparation and control of records, statistics, and reports regarding operations, personnel changes, etc.
•Screens telephone calls and receives and directs visitors
•Operates a personal computer using an array of business software applications (e.g., word processing, presentation and spreadsheet)
•Screens incoming calls and mail, and handles confidential matters
•Resolves routine inquiries
•Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, meetings and travel itineraries and coordinates related arrangements
•Prepares and distributes minutes of meetings
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime under the non-exempt FLSA classification for hours worked in excess of 40 per week.
•High school diploma or GED
•Four years (4) clerical/administrative experience
Skills and Competencies
•Advanced typing and word processing skills
•Proficiency using a personal computer
•High organizational skills
•Ability to work as a team and deal with internal and external customers
