At Regions a Computer Operator monitors and manipulates console controls in routine computer operations. Operates peripheral equipment. Maintains routine records and may maintain library.
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime under the non-exempt FLSA classification for hours worked in excess of 40 per week.
•High school diploma or GED and six years related work experience
•Prior banking experience desired, but not required
•Good written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to work independently

•Associates degree in a related field and four years experience
Additional Job Description:
The role is for a Mission Critical Analyst. Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills are needed to succeed in this position. Using various monitoring tools, the Mission Critical Analyst's job is to ensure our hardware, software, applications, urls and network are functioning within acceptable response levels and engaging / facilitating resolutions via bridge lines and email notifications when not.
This is a 365/24/7 day operation so candidates must have flexibility with the shift that is assigned.
Monitoring the Bank’s Distributed Environment
Processing Alerts: acknowledging, analyzing, and applying the right urgency to alerts that we receive. As well, appropriately engaging support groups for resolution.
Facilitate bridge lines during Sev1 (Priority) issues to ensure the proper resources are engaged
Partner with other teams to ensure smooth transition and validations during upgrades and replacements
Communicating with other teams and management timelines, progress, impact and availability
Trend analysis to identify recurring issues with potential impact
Work with other previous and post shifts to ensure successful turnover of events
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Problem solving skills
Motivated, positive attitude
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Associates’ degree or 4 years’ technology experience
Certifications in Critical Event Management / Mission Critical Monitoring
Experience with CA, Compuware, ThousandEyes, and/or SolarWinds Monitoring Tools
Experience in related field (Support Center, Incident, Problem, or Critical Event analyst)
