At Regions, the Collections Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of a team of representatives that handle Collections and Recovery interactions.
Plans, directs, supervises, and evaluates work flow to meet operational requirements, recommended improvements and performance monitoring standards
Oversees the daily application of organizational policies and procedures that drive performance and promote the Collections and Recovery culture
Tracks and coaches team member performance
May collect high risk, seriously delinquent or loans requiring special attention
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
High school diploma or equivalent
Three (3) years of experience in a collections or customer service environment
One (1) year of leadership/management experience
Excellent oral & written communication skills (spreadsheet & word processing)
Proven ability to meet/exceed performance goals
Experience working with predictive dialers & call center environment
Must be detailed oriented to maintain a high level of quality demanded by working on time sensitive matters
Strong organization skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment required
Must be able to work well with others in a team environment handling
Prior loss mitigation experience in a consumer banking environment of at least 1 year.
Prefer experience in consumer underwriting of mortgage loans.
Ability to read and understand tax returns, calculate DTI.
Strong understanding of consumer lending laws
