Job Description:

At Regions, our Instructional Designer position will support our internal clients by performing project management and executing the full ADDIE cycle of instructional design including consulting with clients on training needs analysis, identification of potential instructional strategies, selection and design of optimum solutions(s) and deliverables, development and implementation of training programs and evaluation of training effectiveness.


  • Create simple training solutions and deliverables after conducting basic analysis to determine the appropriate organization and content for the learning solution

  • Conduct basic task analysis for targeted systems, procedures, and work processes

  • Enter online content using proprietary authoring tools

  • Review, proof, and edit documents, presentations, spreadsheets, etc. to design specifications

  • Perform basic LMS administration and support duties as required

  • Upload courses to print vendor for project and design team

  • Conduct assessment question entry into software and evaluate question performance based on tool reporting capabilities

  • Design instructions that reflects and understanding of the learning needs and diversity of target audience

  • Other duties as assigned

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.


  • Bachelors degree

  • One year instructional design experience and proficiency with desktop publishing software


  • Masters degree in Instructional Design or similar coursework and banking industry experience

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong PC skills

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office products

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Strong customer service

  • Good math and grammar skills
