At Regions, Information Technology (IT) Strategy and Transformation Function Manager supports the development and execution of the enterprise IT Strategy. This role will be responsible for leading and/or supporting various types strategic initiatives have potential impact to people, process, and technology. The IT Strategy and Transformation Analyst will collaborate with resources within the department and across the enterprise to drive change within the organization.
Supports the development of the strategic vision and supporting strategic plan for the IT organization
Leads transformation of various aspects of the Technology Department through the execution of strategic initiatives to improve the ability to support both short and long term business goals
Leads the use of new technologies/methodologies to the departments delivery teams inclusive of Agile, DevOps, Robotics, APIs, and Low Code Platforms
Conducts communication, training, and coaching to various stakeholder groups to gain buy in and ensure appropriate utilization of new tools/methodologies
Monitors and measures success of implemented programs to ensure sustained improvements are being realized
Builds and leads communities of technology associates
Collaborates on new concepts with technology and business stakeholders
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
The position is incentive eligible.
Bachelors degree in Software Development, MIS, Engineering, Finance or related degree
Fifteen (15) years experience
The IT Strategy Manager – Enterprise Agile Coach is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of an enterprise wide agile strategy. The role requires excellent organization, communication and writing skills along with extensive experience developing strategies to enable the Agile transformation of a program/portfolio while also implementing best practices across the enterprise. The IT Strategy Manager – Enterprise Agile Coach is both a leadership and hands on role responsible for both setting strategic objectives of the Agile program while also providing direct support through conducting training opportunities. The desired candidate will have extensive experience as a software developer . The selected candidate will help promote an Agile mindset while serving as an effective change agent for both teams and senior leadership. As a critical member of the IT Strategy and Transformation the role may also require the selected candidate to engage in organization wide initiatives outside of the automation umbrella.
Support the development of the strategic vision and supporting strategic plan for the IT organization.
Responsible for development and execution of multi-year Agile transformation for the enterprise.
Responsible for the buildout of agile best practices including but not limited to the creation of a Center of Excellence.
Review CI/CD pipelines, recommend improvements of both tool and development practices.
Assess current state of the Agile program and determine opportunities for improvement.
Identify key areas of potential transformation and develop corresponding roadmap.
Develop and monitor KPIs to measure the success and/or identify required changes to the Agile program.
Lead communication, training, and coaching of Agile methodologies and best practices.
Partner with external organizations to improve Agile training practices.
Provide mentorship to senior leaders across the organization to instill discipline Agile approach.
Coach, mentor and support less experienced team members.
Experience in Banking, Management Consulting, Technology, or related field.
Degree from a top Undergraduate and/or Graduate program.
Strong change manager with the ability to influence associates at all levels.
Ability to partner within and across departments to achieve transformational goals.
Extensive experience in leading Agile transformations and/or leading Agile teams.
10+ years’ experience as an Agile Coach, Release Train Engineer, Software Development Lead, or Scrum Master.
5+ as a Software Engineer (.NET, Java preferred)
Experience working in a software development role.
Experience providing training opportunities at both the team and senior leadership level.
Working knowledge of DevOps best practices.
- One or more Agile certifications, preferably SAFe Program Consultant (SPC).
