Job Description:

At Regions, the Digital Solutions Expert works as an independent contributor who works on cross functional teams to deliver a world class digital experience for millions of customers by leading one or multiple digital value streams. Assists senior business managers in identifying new opportunities to drive revenue and innovation in Regions’ digital channels. Performs customer and market research, monitor industry trends, conduct competitive analysis, and recommend digital enhancements to enrich the customer’s experience. Serves as a leader in the digital banking group to business partners on initiatives that grow the bank’s revenue and/or improve service quality.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prioritizes customers’ digital needs to deliver a world class digital experience

  • Provides new ideas to enhance digital value streams and/or channels

  • Helps develop business scope, minimum viable product, and acceptance criteria on initiatives that impact assigned digital value stream(s) and/or channels

  • Establishes and maintain long lasting relationships with various stakeholders throughout the bank, including business groups, technology, risk, legal, audit, compliance, and operations

  • Develops and gains approval for lean business cases for the digital banking group and/or assigned business group projects and initiatives

  • Serves as an “Epic Owner” in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) process; guiding a project/initiative from ideation to completion, may include defining business scope, requirements, and/or the definition of done that ensures a timely delivery of projects/initiatives

  • Conveys business goals, objectives, and prioritization to agile teams from stakeholders

  • Helps mitigate risk associated with digital projects and value streams

  • Develops key performance indicators for assigned value streams/projects

  • Partners with user experience teams as appropriate to ensure a world class experience

  • Drives adoption of assigned value streams and/or projects by partnering with Corporate Marketing and other stakeholders

  • ManagesThird Party Relationships

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree

  • Eight (8) years related experience in digital banking, digital product management, business case development, business requirements/analysis, or software development lifecycles

  • Familiarity or working knowledge of project management and/or software delivery methodologies (i.e. Agile)

  • Deep subject matter expertise on key digital banking, financial services, and/or industry segments (e.g. payments, retail banking, digital sales/onboarding, commercial banking, wealth management, digital strategy, etc.)

Preferences

  • Fosters collaboration in a shared services environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; familiarity communicating with Executives

  • Experience in translating business needs and strategic objectives to other stakeholders

  • Self-starter who creates and takes actions on plans, collaborates with business partners and Agile teams to deliver projects timely

  • Financial Services industry acumen

  • BSA, AML, OFAC, or CDD experience

  • Project management experience

  • Conflict Resolution / Negotiation

  • Influencing skills

  • A current Scaled Agilist (SA)or Scaled Agile Practitioner (SP) certification
