At Regions, the Information Security Analyst provides proactive and reactive cyber threat intelligence services to protect external facing and internal based computing assets, data, customers, and brand reputation.
Identifies threats by monitoring for relevant risks like malicious code, vulnerabilities, or attacks
Conducts threat analysis by reviewing potential and current threats
Provides actionable intelligence for risk reduction
Rotates in 24/7 On-Call support coverage
Assists in the evaluation, development, testing, and implementation of emerging data access control technologies
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Three (3) years of experience in the Information Security industry
Two (2) years of work experience directly related to the area of cyber threat intelligence
Strong understanding of mitigating security controls
Working knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint web application practical application and functionality
Skills and Competencies
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent customer service skills and problem resolution
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in an effective manner
Experience working with Fraud and / or Cybercrime Intelligence is a plus.
