Job Description:

At Regions the Subpoena Processing Specialist will process incoming subpoenas, IRS summonses and other related requests for bank documents.

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime under the non-exempt FLSA classification for hours worked in excess of 40 per week.

Primary Responsibilities

•Process incoming subpoenas, IRS summonses and other related requests for bank documents

•Analyze and interpret requests to identify and produce responsive documents

•Apply established practices and policies throughout the course of processing

•Escalate non-routine matters and comply with established BSA/AML standards

•Work closely with internal personnel to locate responsive documents

•Work closely with outside entities, i.e., law enforcement, attorneys, etc., to compile response

•Maintain and update case management database and files

•Prepare appropriate responsive correspondence and business record affidavits

•Invoice for costs associated with production where appropriate

Requirements

•Associates Degree

•Three (3) years experience in legal or related field

Skills & Competencies

•Strong organizational skills

•Ability to negotiate and influence others

•Ability to analyze and evaluate facts

•Strong computer/typing skills

•Ability to manage heavy workload

Preferences

•Bachelors Degree

•Knowledge of banking systems, i.e., Mainframe, Webview, etc.
