At Regions, our Financial Analyst V develops financial planning systems and procedures designed to protect assets. Gathers, organizes and documents relevant financial information.
Analyzes, consolidates and interprets financial data
Prepares detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of management
Monitors actual results of financial data against plans, forecasts and budgets
Consolidates a wide range of operating and financial projections for the development of both short-term and long-term business plans
Senior Corporate Costing Analyst will develop and update Activity Based Costing methodologies for Regions expense base.
Partner with business leaders to translate general ledger expenses into process driven cost allocations.
Generate reporting and insights for line of business, customer/product, and pricing decisions
Manage multiple projects across different cost areas.
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a directly related field
Seven years experience with management reporting or financial analysis
Skill Set Desired
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent PC skills including experience with Microsoft applications
Good knowledge of financial statements and strong quantitative skills
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Experience within a financial services industry
Excellent communication skills; ability to present and engage stakeholders across multiple levels of management
Ability to contextualize financial data and deliver actionable costing information for business decision making
Proactive self-starter that takes personal accountability for high-quality work product
Financial services management reporting or cost accounting experience
Proficiency in MS Excel/PowerPoint and willingness to learn Access/SQL/Oracle
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
