Job Description:

At Regions, the Marketing Digital Strategist creates and manages digital strategies for internal channels and external media that drive brand awareness and conversion.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Gathers, synthesizes, and applies digital insights to inform strategies and to integrate those with all addressable channels and media

  • Develops success metrics, and track performance against goals and budget. Leverage Media Mix Modeling (Marketing Evolution) and Cross-Channel Attribution (TBD) tools to provide reporting and optimization recommendations.

  • Responsible for the management of the digital tools and technologies (DMP) and the methods by which the platforms can be used to effectively accomplish business objectives.

  • Evaluates emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.

  • Develops test-and-learn strategies as appropriate to test new opportunities or to evaluate value of programs.

  • Ensures digital strategies are executed within strict conformance with risk, security and other applicable standards and support the development of new standards for evolving channels.

  • Responsible for the management of media verification tools and the methods by which the platforms monitor digital media quality (brand safety, fraud and view ability).

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field

  • Five (5) years of advertising agency or media services company experience a plus

  • Five (5) years of experience in consumer advertising strategies in the digital and high-technology space


  • Success developing and implementing scalable digital marketing strategies with measurable results.

  • Extensive hands-on experience in online advertising and online acquisition campaigns.

  • Experience in the oversight and management of omni-channel strategies across channels.

  • One year working with a DMP with experience managing data and building audiences preferred

  • Be a thought leader who can share trends and behaviors on digital media to optimize existing platforms as well as properties that are not currently used or that are underutilized.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, across all organizational levels.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, experience in dealing with multiple and diverse internal stakeholders, and interacting with business and technology partners.

  • Strong analytical skill set, capable of analyzing and reacting to digital performance data and its role within all media plans.

  • Working knowledge of CRM metrics pertaining to customer lifetime value, customer acquisition costs, retention.

  • Solid understanding of data reporting and digital advertising best practices.

  • Proficient in strategic and tactical thinking; able to work cross-functionally and able to identify creative marketing opportunities that complement the bigger picture.

  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
