Job Description:

At Regions, our Financial Manager leads a team that manages the day-to-day financial activities of the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Controls financial resources and ensures that all financial transactions, systems and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards

  • Responsible for financial analysis and reporting, taxation, insurance, credit control, accounts payable/receivable, inventory and costs control, and budgeting and forecasting

  • Oversees the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of operating systems and programs

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a directly related field

  • Eight years finance experience managing large groups/functions

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access

  • Excellent communication skill

This role serves as a key financial partner to the Retail Field and Sales, Service and Performance teams. This role provides financial and thought leadership to the business partners while influencing strategic decisions.

  • Makes recommendations for improved profitability

  • Provides insights to Regions’ performance vs peers and market opportunities

  • Partners with business leaders to create executive discussions and presentations
