Job Description:

At Regions, the Applications Program Group Manager acts as the primary point of contact between Information Technology (IT) and business segment senior executives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manages and oversees all aspects of the IT relationship with the business segment

  • Directs multiple application delivery managers and teams in support of specific business segments

  • Performs general management duties including development and performance appraisals

  • Establishes department goals and objectives in accordance with company policies and goals

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience

  • Seven (7) years of supervisory/managerial experience

Preferences

  • Prior banking experience helpful

Skills and Competencies

  • Understanding of technology used in application delivery

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills

  • Demonstrated presentation skills

  • Must have demonstrated business acumen with the ability to interact with senior management across the organization

  • Must also be able to manage multiple priorities
